Speaker Coordinator- Rhonda Wald | speakercoordinator@prhep.net
Hi, I’m Rhonda. I make my home in Sexsmith with my husband and 10 year old son. My personal philosophy is “learning happens all the time” which encourages and inspires me along our educational pathway. I am blessed to have an insatiable love of learning which has lent itself to the completion of an Early Childhood Diploma and a Computerized Accounting Diploma. My interests include reading, writing, photography, research and technology. I volunteer my time with the Shannon Library Board, Friends of the Library, Sexsmith Skateboard/BMX Park, La Leche League Canada, Peace Region Home Education Conference and the Grande Prairie & Area Home School Fieldtrip Group.
Treasurer- Lisa Chalifoux
Lisa and her family moved to Sexsmith 6 years ago. We have home educated our 14 year old son for 5 years, and enjoy having him home. Being able to form a bond with him that only homeschooling can provide and watching as he learns from all aspects of life (not just books) is very fulfilling. Community involvement is important to Lisa so she has volunteered her time with Sexsmith Community Enrichment Foundation, PRHEP Conference committee, Friends of the Shannon Library, Sexsmith Christmas Hamper program, as well as Co-ordinating fieldtrips for the Homeschool Fieldtrip Group.

Website Guru – Jake Gour
We, Jake and Jackie, have been married 9 years and moved to Fairview from Victoria 4 years ago to be closer to extended family. We have 3 kids (ages 6, 4, and 1) and officially started homeschooling this year. We decided to give home education a try after attending PRHEP in 2010 and listening to Paul Harris. This is why we are excited to have the conference running again this year.
